Douglas Fir posts are a cheaper alternative to Green Oak timber posts and are ideal for a wide range of projects including timber frame construction of porches, garages and gazebos. As a stable softwood timber grown in Europe, Douglas Fir posts are also a great gate post choice, due to their natural strength and attractive finish.

Over time, this timber will change to natural silver-grey colour. The timber has a sawn finish and can be treated with wood stains, oils or painted.
